Congratulations to all of our partners on Horologist’s two length victory in the G3 Molly Pitcher tonight at Monmouth. This was a very strong edition of this race at the top with Multiple G1 winner She’s a Julie, and potential rising star Royal Flag. Horologist earned a career best 101 Beyer speed figure for this victory. That puts her right near the top of the filly and mare division. There are only a couple of other fillies who have run a 100+ beyer this year.
Horologist broke well from the outside post and Joe Bravo put her in the perfect spot tracking the leaders. She started to inch up on the far turn, and took command with about an eighth of a mile left to win going away by 2 lengths. It was another 5+ back to Royal Flag in 3rd. Horologist cooled out in great shape, and is already back in her stall at Saratoga.
