Instagrand and Instilled Regard have first mares confirmed in foal

Taylor Made Stallions’ Instagrand and Instilled Regard have both had their first mares confirmed in foal and they include multiple Grade 1 winner Cambier Parc, scanned in foal to Instilled Regard, and Grade 1 winner Concrete Rose, confirmed in foal to Instagrand, the farm announced today.

Cambier Parc captured back-to-back Grade 1 wins in 2019, winning the Del Mar Oaks (G1) and the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup S. (G1) at Keeneland in consecutive starts. Concrete Rose also registered her Grade 1 score in 2019, taking that year’s Belmont Oaks Invitational S. (G1).

Royally-bred Instilled Regard is a Grade 1 winner and a $1.05 million OBS March 2-year-old purchase by Champion Sire Arch. Produced from the winning Forestry mare Enhancing who is a half-sister to Champion 2-Year-Old Filly Heavenly Prize, Instilled Regard hails from a deep Ogden Phipps family replete with influential stallions Roberto, Danzig, Storm Cat, and Seeking the Gold all within the first three generations. Instilled Regard’s biggest victory came in the 2020 Manhattan S. (G1) at Belmont Park.

Instagrand, a Grade 2 winner and a $1.2 million purchase, is by Champion Sire Into Mischief. Instagrand won Del Mar’s Best Pal S. (G2) in 2018 by 10 ¼ lengths after making an auspicious career debut with a jaw-dropping 10-length romp at Los Alamitos where he ran five furlongs in :56, just a tick off the track record.
