Street Band was an impressive winner of the G3 Indiana Oaks on July 13th. This as her first start since her 6th place finish in the G1 Kentucky Oaks. We gave her a little extra time between the Oaks and the Indiana Oaks to try and have her fresh for a strong summer campaign.
She settled just off the lead in 5th early, before making strong headway heading into the far turn. She moved up to challenge the leader on the far turn, before easily opening up by 4-5 lengths at the head of the lane. She kept on well down the lane to win by a geared down 3.5 lengths. She came out of the race well, and is pointing towards the G1 Alabama at Saratoga on August 17th.
